Referral Policy
At Interface, we endeavour to provide a full spectrum of oral and maxillofacial surgical services to patients referred to our practice.
A brief outline of the problem or area of concern is appreciated, and standard forms are available for your assistance in this area. Please contact our office if you require additional referral forms. Also feel free to fax or mail these referrals to our office.

The partners at Interface will provide 24-hour coverage daily for any post-operative questions or problems that may arise.
Requests for a specific surgeon will, of course, be honoured but many patients find the convenience and flexibility of taking an earlier available appointment attractive should another surgeon be available.
Emergency Referrals
Patients with significant pain or extensive swelling suggestive of an acute infection or patients with recent injuries will be seen as soon as possible.
There are many patients with longstanding low grade toothache that can be treated with analgesics and antibiotics to control symptoms until a scheduled appointment can be arranged. This is often the most convenient for all parties.
Long waits or disappointment may arise if patients just "show up" without an appointment. If you feel that one of your patients should be seen on an urgent basis, please call one of the partners to discuss the particulars of that situation.
